You still have MOUSE_PROTOCOL=PS/2. This specifies a PS/2 mouse.

As Mike said in his previous post use:
MOUSE_PROTOCOL=Microsoft
MOUSE_DEVICE=/dev/ttyS0 (if it's your first serial port, or ttyS<port>).
