Point increments work. When you make each build set the HDUPDATE_SERVER_VERSION and HDUPDATE_WS_VERSION to the same number. When there's a new build set these both to a higher number and in the config file for the machine you want to upgrade set HDUPDATE_SERVER_VERSION to the new number. -----Original Message----- From: thi...@li... Does the version that is going to be=20 replaced have to have HDUPDATE settings built into it? Do I make my=20 first HDUPDATE attempt with version 2? Or will 1.1 work? So, would=20 these settings be sufficient? HDUPDATE_WS_VERSION=3D2 HDUPDATE_ENABLED=3DY # not needed? HDUPDATE_SERVER=3D'http://localhost' HDUPDATE_PATH=3D'http://localhost' HDUPDATE_FILES=3D"initrd" # what is HDUPDATE_SERVER_VERSION=3DCO.29 for? Basicially, what parts need to be part of the buildtime and what=20 settings can be set from the other config files. . .what is the minimum=20 settings needed? How are versions set and what are they compared against? DISCLAIMER: The information contained in this e-mail is intended for the recipient = or entity to whom it is addressed.
