The basic hdupdate capability does NOT rely on scp, it is just an addon. I agree it makes it more difficult if someone wants to use scp for hdupdate rather than tftp (but the default is tftp anyway). Also scp can be used for other things as well, and it's pretty silly to include hdupdate if ALL you want is scp (not very modular). Trevor B |
