included part2&3 and parts of 1, but not the BASEPATH patch. Need you to explain in more details as this could break existing installs. I believe previously I had done this and it cuased quite a few problems, so I allowed defining it at build time. -----Original Message----- From: Osvaldo Marques Junior [mailto:os...@di...] Sent: Monday, 13 December 2004 05:23 p.m. To: thi...@li... Subject: [Thinstation-developer] Minor patches to telnetd and BASEPATH Gentlemen, I installed today the beta11 and it worked ok. I just decided to do the following: - change the decision of the BASEPATH to the "installation time" instead of the "build time". The objective is to permit the existence of more than one version of thinstation in the tftp directory without rebuild. So, with this patch, the directory declared for the thinstation in dhcpd will be the directory of the configuration files. - a little correction in the assembly of "/etc/xinetd.d/telnet". The current script does not generate the file if the variable "NET_REMOTE_ACCESS_FROM" is not declared. I changed it to enable access to the local subnet if it can be identified, otherwise removes the "access_only" declaration. - the last and least change was to add a new alias for "ls -l". For people who learned Unix in the great days of SCO, "l" means "ls -l" and I feel myself disabled without it. My best regards, Osvaldo. ================================================== Attention: The information contained in this message and/or attachments is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
