As a board grows, more and more forums may be added to it. UPB currently only has one layer of forums, so it can get quite cluttered (every forum appears on the main page). When using subforums, loading time of the main page will be much shorter. If it is confusing for you you don't have to use it. But others will make use of it (I'm sure), so I wanted to suggest it. This board is great btw!

I was wondering what are the advantages of having sub forums? I've seen forums use it, but it seems more confusing than helpful :(

As of right now, no it is not being considered for the next version, but we will consider it for future versions :)
