TextForge is a modern, browser-based rich text editor interface built entirely with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It provides a clean, distraction-free writing environment with a professional dark-themed toolbar and a white paper-like editing surface. The editor uses the browser's native contenteditable API combined with document.execCommand to deliver a full suite of text formatting capabilities without requiring any external libraries or frameworks. Users can format text with bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough styles, change font family and size, apply text and highlight colors, and adjust paragraph alignment. The editor supports structured content such as headings (H1, H2, H3), bulleted and numbered lists, blockquotes, code blocks, tables, images, links, and horizontal rules. A built-in find and replace bar allows users to search for text and replace individual or all occurrences. The interface includes real-time word and character counts.
