I install TextCite in my home PC, and it seems very useful to my work so far. I am thinking to use TextCite in my lab, too. However, I have no administrator authority to install a new program in the lab PC.
Java is installed in the lab PC already. I wonder if I simply copy the TextCite folder (ie. the three files-app.ico, TextCite-1.4.jar, and uninstall.exe) to the lab PC and run TextCite-1.4.jar without installing TextCite, can it operate as fully as a normally installed one? Will I lose any function or risk anything by using TextCite without installation?
