It would be very good to use multiple languages. Alot of words are english!

To use HunspellMerge is not a solution. With this dictionary merg conjunctions are nolonger supported.
Conjunctions are very very commen in the german language.

    Would be bad IMHO. For instance, for a text in French, "recommendation" wouldn't be detected as wrong whereas it should be spelled "recommandation".

    A better way would be to add to your personal dictionary the English words you are often using in your German texts.

    If that's the only obstacle, you should file a bug report to HunspellMerge. We are not going to invest effort just because a basically good solution does not work because of a bug in a third party software. There's simply too much else to do.

    I didn't know that conjunctions are implemented by the dictionary and that therefor this is a bug from hunspell merge. I issued this problem on the hunspell merge project page:
