It’d be nice to have full highlighting support for biblatex
bibliography style files (.bbx) and citation style files (.cbx) (and possibly other biblatex
-related files I don’t know about). Checking biblatex.cwl in the Completion menu helps for some of the commands, but for many it doesn’t (e.g. \RequireBibliographyStyle{...}
, \adddotspace
, \adddotspace
, \DeclareFieldFormat[...]{...}{...}
, \newbibmacro*{...}{...}
). Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about the innards of biblatex
to tell you where exactly all those macros are defined.

With “highlighting” I mean recognition à la .cwl, i.e. the macros should not be marked as syntax errors, macros like
newbibmacro
should be recognized as creating more macros, and\RequireBibliographyStyle
would be like\usepackage
, i.e. loading more macros etc.
