#1170 Incorrect spacing in tables after "align columns" when there are wide characters

The source code will get incorrect spacing in tables after "align columns" when there are wide characters as the attachment shows.

The alignment does only correct the column numbers of the separating characters (ampersands) by inserting spaces. Of course, this does not work for variable-width fonts.

Generally, it is not possible to obtain exact character alignment with variable-width fonts.
