What is the simplest way for me – who is unable to edit those qm files as of
now – to update the translation? There are a few minor errors in the German
one.
Or/and if someone else could be so kind:
Below the main editor:
"Sichbare Spalte" → "Sichtbare Spalte"
And in the configuration:
"Latex Menüs" → "LaTeX-Menüs"
"Benutzer Toolbar" → "Benutzer-Toolbar"
"Benutzerdefiniertes Hervorhebung" → "Benutzerdefinierte Hervorhebung" (though
I'll propose "Eigene Hervorhebung" because it won't exceed the column width,
resulting in "Benutzerdefiniertes Hervor...")

In case you want to do it yourself in the future: In a nutshell, the
translation process uses the following tools:
1) lupdate: extracts translatable strings from the sources to a .ts file
2) QtLinguist: edit translations in .ts file
3) lrelease: compile .ts to .qm
Just for completeness to step 1:
It is also a good idea to call texstudio --update-translations from time to
time, to gather some translatable strings lupdate doesn't find (e.g. from
uiconfig.xml and color names,...)

I applied the changes.
