The package standalone allows creating child documents, that can be compiled on their own. Likewise, some setups may see a child document included into different master documents, e.g. with beamer one for the presentation, one for the handout and one for the notes.
Sadly, tex-studios intelligent master-document detection works against the user here; Manually changing the master document continously is inconvenient and changes the order of tabs (which too is undesireable in such cases).
Is there some method to obtain a behaviour, where always the file of the current tab is compiled? It would be useful as a third alternative to the two modes ("automatic detection", "make this the master document") currently available.
