The following code produces 2 errors.

line 12: Missing number, treated as zero. Test here\\ [following text]
line 12: Illegal unit of measure (pt inserted). Test here\\ [following text]
I guess that the space before the bracket is not being considered and the editor is reading the code as
\\[

You can do that. It's a question about LaTeX not about TeXstudio.
Thanks. I've just tested with a minimal tex file using nano and
terminal and I got the problem. Sorry for this.
