Version 2.7.0
The Compilations button works fine, its when I press the Build&View that the programm crashes. I've tried it on different tex files and its happening on a specific file.
I can the problem is that the LaTex document is referencing multiple other documents with Figures etc, since this is my dissertation I opted to split chapters into multiple files

I have seen a crash when using an old txs build.
The crash occurs in liblcms-1.dll when rendering the pdf.
So, can you confirm, that it crashes when the pdf viewer is open/opened ?
Have two remarks:
1) a figure caused a bunch of error messages when txs is run from a terminal that some fonts are missing
2) the figure chanel... pdf causes a pdflatex warning that it contains pdf 1.6 elements though only pdf 1.5 elements are supported.
If it crashes with the pdf viewer, can you try to comment out the figures one by one ?

I am not quite sure, how you saved the data which you presented.
What we need is a list of dlls which texstudio is using.
If you select the process of texstudio in process exploxer and use saveAs, a list of all used dlls is saved in the text file, see attachment.
This is what we need from you.
Thanks for the patience during testing. It's still not clear to me where the error comes from.
Another test would be interesting: Try it with a Qt5 Build of a recent development snapshot. It's standalone. You can unzip it to any folder and run it from there. It doesn't affect your regular TXS installation. Just make sure the installed TXS is closed before you start this one. After the test just delete the folder.

Verify that 2.7.0 crashes and 2.6.6 works. (Remeber to close any TXS instance before you open the next. Otherwise it will not really start the next but only bring up the existing instance).
Delete all .dll files in the 2.7.0 directory and copy the .dlls from the 2.6.6 directory there. Recheck the crash in 2.7.0.

The backtrace is attached
can you provide the file ?

how big would be a compressed file ?
You could send it by mail directly to me.
Can you kindly give me your email address please?
You can send it to thoffmann@texstudio.org and I'll forward it to Jan.

Yes compilation works fine. When I press view it crashes. However the pdf is still generated correctly
okay, the pdf viewer crashes.
can you comment out single "includegraphics" ?
My guess would be the one on page 8 ...
I will comment out all the images and let you know :)
I removed all the images and the problem didn't occur, so I guess its a problem with the PDF viewer
So, can you check, which image causes the problem ?

#970it seems when I comment all of them it works, however when I enable anyone of the images it crashes
Can you try the mircosoft process explorer to check which dlls your
binary of txs uses ?

Alright! Thanks a lot. It might be some library issue. Could you try the following:
I tried all steps, however in all cases the program crashed.
Only the Qt5 build version is working
Same here!
Commented all images => worked!
With any image included => did not work.
Downloaded and installed texstudio271_snapshot_2014-05-11_win_qt5 and it works with images.
All on Windows 7 x64 Pro.
TexStudio 2.7
