Running on Linux Mint 18.1.
My TeXstudio installation reports that there's a newer version available for download, and it reports that the installed version is a release candidate:
TeXstudio 2.12.4 Release Candidate (hg 6464:95a291ce0fcb)
This is a development version.
Using Qt Version 4.8.7, compiled with Qt 4.8.7 R
When I go to the website and re-download from
there's no change. TeXStudio again reports that there's a newer version available for download, and that it is a release candidate.
I've tried deleting .config/texstudio/texstudio.ini but the update alert still happened.
