#2034 Window content reverts to default after each launch

Hello,

For me a new problem appeared with version 2.12.0: each time I launch TeXStudio, a panel with the document structure appears on the left-hand side. It takes up valuable space so I don't want it to appear. Unfortunately, closing it isn't memorized so I have to close it every single time I relaunch the application. I didn't find any parameter in the preference window to solve that problem.

It may be related or not, but I also can't get the PDF preview to stay opened after each relaunch. Even if the PDF already exists, TeXStudio doesn't pick it up automatically so I have to manually open it, and that setting is forgotten after I quit the application.
