#1814 TeXstudio compiles a temporary copy of the original file

For some tex file TeXstudio creates a copy like /tmp/texstudio_th3318.tex and comiples it instead, hence it cannot see the files in the current directory included via \input{} for example. This happens for one file not all. What is going on? The changes to the original file are also not saved. It keeps compiling its temporary version.

    non writeable directory ? have you tried "save as" ?
    OS ? Version of txs ?

    Directory is writable (drwxr-xr-x). I can work with it fine using other editors. Save as works fine. OS is Arch Linux, txs version 2.11.0.

    And Arch strikes again.

    tmp directory is usually only used if the document is "untitled" and you are doing a compilation on that. After giving a name by saving, it uses that name.

    If that is not the case with your problem, we can't help you as Arch Linux has an infamous track record of producing unexplainable bugs which are not directly in our code. (unless you give a step-by-step instruction on how to reproduce the behaviour on a more common OS).
