#1630 Texnic Center deleted .tex file on reload

I was creating a fairly simple document on TexnicCenter, but every time I loaded the pdf to check things I received a popup as if the document had been edited outside of TexnicCenter. Eventually I accidentally clicked the reload changes option instead of closing the prompt and my .tex file was replaced with 2000 lines of gibberish that I can only assume is some other file format being. I cannot undo this in the program and the .tex file seems to have been removed from my computer.
