#1520 Texnic Center for Ubunutu Linux (or other linux distributions)
I tend to use a linux OS for personal use, and my lab computers are equipped with Windows. Though we have some liscences purchased for WinEdt, I use Texnic Center which is a wonderful software. But, when it comes to linux, I have to use some other IDE.
I propose to convert texnicccenter to linux platforms. I would like to see it in Ubuntu as it's what I use, but doesn't mean should be only debian.

would love to see that! i have only one windows vm and its just for texnic center. the linux alternatives dont come close in my opinion.
