No

Ctrl-Tab should be changed (or at least the possibility to change the behaviour should be given to the user) such that it addresses the most recently used tab instead of addressing just the next tab.

Ctrl+Tab is used for tab management and will not be changed. However, you can assign your own shortcuts to Next Windows/Previous window to be able to switch between tabs using your own shortcuts.

What's a 'most recently used tab'? TeXnicCenter doesn't track the usage order of single tabs.

What I meant was the behaviour that e.g. the LastTab Firefox plugin provides: the last tab which was previously used is activated on the pressing of the combination. This is useful if one wants to quickly switch back and forward between tabs that do not necessarily lie next to each other.

I see. This feature can indeed be useful.
