Would it be possible to support the insertion of code snippets using the Latex package 'minted'? This would enable for example to display C, Java or Python code implementing a mathematical formula.

A possible issue is that minted requires latex/pdflatex to be called with the -shell-escape option. I couldn't find a way to set this option using the current version of TexMaths. Would it be possible to add it?

I've added the -shell-escape option to the latex command used by Texmaths and tested the minted package under Ubuntu: everything seems to work as expected.
You can test the attached pre-release, if you want.
