This is not a bug, but a feature request.

It seems that currently, Texmaths uses the following folder for temporary files:
/home/username/.config/libreoffice/4/user/TexMaths/tmp
Is it possible for TexMaths to use the /tmp directory which might be more suitable for temporary files?

For some people, /tmp is mounted as tmpfs which uses RAM for faster read/write operations.

There is no need of such a feature because the tmp files generated by TexMaths have small size and there is no speed issue when reading / writing these files.

These files can even be on a network file system, this has no impact on the time used by TexMaths to generate an equation. This time is mainly the computing time of external programs called by TexMaths (latex and dvisvgm or dvipng).

      Perhaps a reduced HDD/SSD wear-out is more appealing? :)
