Texmaths works upon initial installation both from the LibreOffice extension site (which supplies a file named "texmaths-0-42.oxt") and from the texmaths site (which supplies a file named "TexMaths-0.42.oxt"). Upon closing LibreOffice and restarting the program, texmaths crashes when clicking any of the icons and opens a window with the BASIC code for texmaths. A screenshot of the error is attached, exactly as it appears after clicking the "pi" icon in LibreOffice. I am running LibreOffice 5.2.3.3 with Windows 10 Pro, although the issue has persisted through two updates.
I have a separate installation on my laptop running the same version of LibreOffice with Windows 10 Home. This installation does not have this problem and continues to work after restarting LibreOffice. Currently, I have to reinstall the texmaths extension every time I want to use it with the problematic installation.
I am not experienced in BASIC, so I can't make a detailed guess as to what the solution might be, but it looks like the "TexMaths" library gets created in a location for temporary files upon the initial installation, then gets deleted after LibreOffice is closed once. When it is reopened, the library is not recreated, and an error occurs.
I get the same error window, hanging at the same line 35: DialogLibraries.LoadLibrary( "TexMaths" )
TexMaths 0.43, LibreOffice 5.4.2.2 (installed this version because it had started to happen in the previous, 5.2 version of LibreOffice, after working perfectly before).
Hello,
I also get exacly the same error. I am working with LibreOffice 5.3.6.1 (x64), TexMaths 0.43 and MikTeX 2.9. Since the installation did work perfectly in the passed, the error is certainly linked to a new version of LibreOffice.
Regards
Reverting to Libre Office 5.2 returns it to previous behaviour, as well.

#70Thanks!
However, I have tried ro re-install LibreOffice 5.2.4.2 - to no avail.
Re-installing TexMaths 0.43 does not help, either...
What version of LibreOffice 5.2 do you use??
Unfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce the bug. I have several boxes with Windows 7 with LibreOffice 5.3.x and 5.4.x and there is no problem with TexMaths 0.43 / 0.44 on these machines.
Perhaps it's an issue with an unusual installation:
It could help if you could attach your complete LibreOffice profile, usually located in C:\Users\<your_username\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice
The updated version fixed the issue. I no longer have the old installation, so I'm unable to attach my LibreOffice profile.
So, I close this bug.
