I apologize if this is not a bug but a configuration error but I did follow the installation instructions with the only exception that all of my programs are installed on disc D: rather than C:.
I mentioned this problem earlier on ticket #55 which is now closed. Unfortunately, it was apparently not related to the core of that ticket and it still persists in the just now released latest version (0.42).
My specs:
Windows 7(64 bit)
LIbreOffice 5.0.4.2
MikTeX 2.9.5823
TexMaths 0.42
When I click on the equation icon I am getting the following error:
"BASIC runtime error.
An exception occurred
Type: com.sun.star.container.NoSuchElementException
Message: ."
The My Macros & Dialogs.TexMaths - LibreOffice Basics window hangs at
DialogLibraries.LoadLibrary( "TexMaths" )
It looks like it can't load the library for some reason.
Thanks for any pointers to get this fixed. Alex.
I have the same issue... 20170719
Same issue, Libre Office 5.4.2.2 and TexMaths 0.43
Same issue for me, also with Libre Office 5.4.2.2 and TexMaths 0.43
Unfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce the bug. I have several boxes with Windows 7 with LibreOffice 5.3.x and 5.4.x and there is no problem with TexMaths 0.43 / 0.44 on these machines.
Perhaps it's an issue with an unusual installation:
- 32 bits system?
- system installed elsewhere than C: ?
- unusual permissions?
It could help if you could attach your complete LibreOffice profile, usually located in C:\Users\<your_username\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice
Dear Roland,
thank you for the follow-up. I never got it to work on my windows 7
machine and had to use my linux box to work with TexMaths inside
libreoffice. However, it turns out that the problem went away after I
switched to Windows 10. It was probably an unknown configuration issue
with libreoffice on windows 7 which I never fully resolved. I apologize
for not following up on this earlier after I switched to windows 10. As
far as I am concerned you may close this bug report.
Best regards, Alex.

Bugs:
#62Please see https://sourceforge.net/p/texmaths/bugs/82/#46f6/8395 for a possible solution.
Same problem with:
Linux mint 18.1
LibreOffice 6.0.1.1
TexMaths 0.44
Any advice?
I suggest to use a fresh LibreOffice profile and reinstall TexMaths.
If that doesn't help, please tell me...
Also, you can look at this thread and try the proposed solution: https://sourceforge.net/p/texmaths/bugs/84/#03bf
Now it's my turn: Same problem with
NOT an issue in
3. Windows 10, LibreOffice 6.1.3.2 with TexMaths 0.46.1
The issue is new to me, have been using TexMaths for years. I have tried reinstalling Libreoffice and Texmaths to no avail. Any help appreciated!
Roland, I could not believe it, but your hint "use a fresh LibreOffice profil" did the trick. What striked me was that I had the same issue in Linux Manjaro and Linux Mint at the same time. However, problem fixed!
Thank you for this! Removing my "user" folder for LibreOffice fixed the issue! (Ubuntu 18.04 LTS)
Bug closed => old versions of LibreOffice and texMaths
