Hi all, I am new to TeXlipse and was wondering if it is possible to have an embedded DVI or PDF viewer, within Eclipse. So far I got it to open Okular in a separate window, but I would like to have the editor and the viewer side by side, in the same window.
Thanks

We have made a previewer for pdf files, Pdf4Eclipse, which also supports SyncTeX. It is an extra plugin so you have to install it separately. Look here for more details: http://borisvl.github.com/Pdf4Eclipse

Fantastic, many thanks! It works like a charm. To add SyncTeX support, I followed the documentation you provide and added -synctex=1 in Window - Preferences - Texlipse - Builder Settings - Edit PdfLatex program - Arguments. Without this procedure, I would get the following error message: "Could not find SyncTeX file", when attempting to do inverse search (ie double clicking the pdf). I hope this helps other people to set up their Eclipse environment.
