It has just been integrated to Tess4J. The library does not contain the complete set of Leptonica API methods due to the limit on the number of methods in a class -- not sure where the limitations are, Java or JNA? We can tailor it further if need be.

I do not see this in Tess4J. What am I missing? Please be a bit more direct with where it is as I am not that familiar with leptonica and to be honest am not quite that sure what I am looking for.

Work is being done and almost completed to upgrade the wrapper to 1.72. The plan is to release the 1.71-compatible version as soon as the SVN service is back online and then upgrade it to 1.72 shortly after. Please check back in a few days.

Is there also a wrapper for leptonica? I really want to be able to use this in Java as well in order to make images more readable by Tess.

I need the pixCleanBackgroundToWhite() from adaptmap.c in the 1.72 Leptonica for doing pre-OCR clean up.
1) any plans to incorporate this in the Tess4J 3.0 release?
2) do you know if I can JNA 1.72 myself and still use some of your code?
