Tenebrae Quake source modification / Discussion / Open Discussion: tenebrae v2 on Playstation1???

I'm new to Tenebrae, on the home page it says:

"...we finally got a working version of Tenebrae2 for the original Playstation..."

"The original Playstation" - For the PSOne? what gives? That old machine doesn't have so much as a pixel shader and struggles to do plain textures properly, never mind fancy bump mapped ones! So I thought it must be a greatly reduced Tenebrae, but then I read:

"We there for [sic] decided to drop PC support until the hardware catches up with the PS feature wise"

Didn't that happen back in 1996? Even if they are talking about the PS2 it's been a while since it outgunned a modern PC.

And THEN they mention the Gameboy version - so the gameboy can handle the port from the playstation but not the PC? What is going on?

Is there a top secret Gameboy overclocking ring going on behind the scenes, and wouldn't all that water cooling somewhat ruin the portability?

  don't feel bad I thought the same thing at first cuz I didn't see that till about the 15 of April, then I caught the date the next time I visited the site :)
