Every developer needs to commit only to COPIES of the trunk in the Branches/ folder (maybe use your name, or something…), and ONLY THE MANAGER (or some one personally asked by him to do so) should be updating the trunk!! This will be when merging is done. All actual committing of changes by developers would be in Branches, *perhaps* Tags/ at times…
