You must press the Space bar to start/stop scrolling. Make sure you have checked the option in Tools-> Perferences->Controls Don't know about W7, but that's how it works in W10.

I find the text editor utterly useless. I can't scroll in the text editor window, so copying an element from the bottom of the text to teh top is impossible. I do all the edit in Wordpad.

Weird, I have exactly the contrary. With font size 12 and speed at 1, it's too fast!

You must load the text file in the text editor using Ctrl-C Ctrl-V

I created my first script. I saved the script using the Save Script option. When I choose Open Script, nothing happens. When I choose Import Script nothing happens. I have verified that the saved xml script does have the content I saved. Why can't I load the script again? Ken Hermonat

Hi All, Been using Telekast for many years in Linux Mint Mate. Just installed Linux Mint Mate 20.1 and now telekast menu font and teleprompter font is all squished together. I mean, all the letters in a menu item are on top of each other. I have installed all the optional fonts I can find in Mint, including the Microsoft ones, without change. Any idea on what to do? Thanks!

Hi, I do not need TeleKast at the moment, but I am interrested in futue use as teleprompter. I tried a few things and they look nice. I have just one problem: when I copy a segment to "Segment Clip" it arrives there, but it disappears after 15 seconds. In the segment-clip folder is a xml-file with that segment, but it is not usable in the programme. Karl PS I use Linux Mint 17.3

Hi Ranny, have you tried it in the meantime? Does it work? I looked through the website of xkeys and think that the standard-pedal http://xkeys.com/xkeys/xkfootRear.php can be programmed with their software (only Win and mac) for any HID-command. I found that reducing the font size slightly - 102-108pt - helped with the speed issue. Otherwise, found the same concern.

The fastest scroll speed (9) is extremely slow so the program is basically useless for me. I guess it's not going to be developed any further?
