At first blush, makes sense to me. Of course, a better
examination of which elements do and don't belong in this
class is probably in order. (If <persName> and <placeName>
belong, why not <name> and <rs>?)

I am closing this ticket for now, though I agree with Syd that if the topic is to be re-examined it should be in a broader context (i.e. including <name> as well).
