#642 linksto vault and source forge

The current version of the docs have:

Version 2.6.0. Last updated on 20th January 2014, revision 12802

in the header of every page.

That header seems like an ideal chance to have links to the vault and version control, but nothing is linked.

I've just noticed that similar (but slightly different) info is in the footer, this time with links.

Maybe some consistency is in order?

Personally, I'd say this is a feature, not a bug :-} ie
the header which humans read is not polluted by over-linking,
but the reference links are there in the footer for those
who look.
