The decision has been made to use GDK to create the interface because it can then easily be ported between Linux and Windows.
The following classes have been created cGrade, cName, cPhone and cAddress to store user information.
The website for this project have now been posted and the initial codeing has been started.

My computer programing class is beginning to design some of the C++ classes that will be used in this program. If you have suggestions for what you would like this program to do it would be a great time to submit them.
The plans for this project are slowly unfolding. I was considering doing the project in C++ but have been unable to get the compilation to work correctly on my debian box. I'v just install java and it appears to work fine. The code that I've started can easily be ported to java since it was just a couple of object that were written.
I'm currently working on planning the main features and framework for Teachers Aid. Your suggestions are welcome.
