Related to RFE 1010254.
Thanks for implmenting the functionality for excluding
folders from the scan/transfer process. Unfortunately
I'm having trouble getting this to work.
With a freshly formatted H140 (set to drive O:) I set-up
the ExcludeFolder.ini with the new menu option.
However, when I processed the scan the folders that
were in the ini were included in thos to be transferred.
My mp3s on the PC are stored in my L: drive in the
following format:
Artist\Album\xx - title.mp3
On this basis I have tried excluding the Artist folder and
the album sub folders but with no success. I also tried
using the TDT_IGNORE files in both Artist/Album folder
(and as a file called TDT_IGNORE.txt and simply
TDT_IGNORE) but this also did not exclude folders from
the scan/transfer.
I have included my ExcludeFolders.ini in case this is of
help (when you see this you'll understand why I want to
exclude most of them!). My mp3 collection is now
larger than the space on my iriver so this functionality
would be of great use!
