I have installed the utility and used it to successfully convert one of my files from my previous non-hd tivo without problem. When I use the utilty on my new HD tivo recordings, the file converts but it only has the sound - no video when played in windows media player. Any ideas?

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I don't know anything about the HD units (I only have an older Series 2 unit), but I'm guessing that either the tivodecode application cannot handle the HD content or (if you are using the ffmpeg bit to resize video) I am passing (or failing to pass) an improper argument to ffmpeg. But, unless you are using the ffmpeg portion, it's more likely to be that the tivodecode application isn't up to date. I believe development is stalled on that--in the same manner I have allowed development of tdgui to stall.
