I'm trying to install the tdb lib on an AMD x86 64 bit machine but I get the following error when running ./configure

Invalid configuration `x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu': machine `x86_64-unknown' not recognized

All other configuration requirements check out. The system is a "x86_64-suse-linux".
