[tcljava-user] building tcl 8.4.2 with optimize flags

Hello,
has anyone built the TCL core with
the optimize flags at the highest
level. I notice the make file
uses "-O", but "-O3" is the maximum
optimization and is not used.

I'm doing this on Win2k.

Would this have any noticeable
effect on run-time performance?
