Hello core team, Could someone with autoconf/TEA knowledge have a look @ https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110894&aid=414910&group_id=10894 Dave Welton and I happy with the patch now, but it could use some more eyeballs before a commit. summary of the bug -> As some implementations of putenv() copy the buffer used in the argument rather than taking reference to it, this leaves an unfreed memory block dangling around on some systems (NetBSD, mswindows are known). The patch adds a test to configure to test for this behavior and sets -DHAVE_PUTENV_THAT_COPIES=1 which adds a small code path for clearing the buffer in generic/tclEnv.c. -- David Gravereaux <dav...@po...> Tomasoft Engineering, Hayward, CA [species: human; planet: earth, milkyway, alpha sector] |
