hi all again, did'nt anybody have anything to say on this things???

anyway i have now learned that it is the "update" command that makes it all
slow down, on a titanium compared to a PIII 800mhz the update command is 37
times slower on mac aqua.

that makes it impossible to do any "drag and drop" stuff animated frames
etc. and also creates a couple of new problems.


if there is anybody out there who would like to fix some of these things i
am willing to sponsor etc...

i really need help here, so please!!

hi all

i am working day and night getting my app. Farmers WIFE up running on the
10.2

so happy to get rid of the classic dist since all i had there was trouble
and bad work arounds with tcl on it.

the porting is going well many graphic issues that i had not thought about,
widder buttons etc..

so first a BIG thanks to all involved getting this tcltkagua up running,
THANKS A LOT!!!!

here is a list that i would like some of you maintainers to please answer me
on, i know you guys propaply koows about them, don't get me wrong like a
little kid that screams because he did not get what he wanted from his
birthday.


1. - THIS ONE IS A REAL PROBLEM
tk is very slow, specialy using "place" i think
it's 10 times slower then running the same code on classic
and its aprox 40 times slower then running on win2k.
all canvas elements are though fine.

i can make an example script showing how bad this is if anybody wants me to.


2.
cursor config's updates first when user moves mouse, like user needs to fire
the event with his mouse

3.
key "arrow up" + "arrow up" etc.. generates text in the entry widget

4.
how do i remove menubars build in menu bars that comes up inte the top,
wish, file etc...

5.
vertical scrollbars with text widgets that have a height of 3 gets obscured.

6.
how do i get the cursor the "busy" like all osx apps does

7. (win2K bug ?)
all canvas text are 1 pixel lower placed in the canvas then on the win
platform

8. FYI
that good old classic mac "cant post menu while allready posing menu" bug is
still there, hehe
not a problem really since i still use "after 40 cmd" on the menu commands.
