You mean command-line editing? Yes, I find the lack of that sub-optimal, too. Experienced hackers would use Emacs' Tcl shell mode, and you can use Wish.app with the packaged TkConsole. It would be nice to have that in a plain Tcl shell, though. That would require to include one of the several readline Tcl packages. so long, benny |
