I'm not sure Tkinter is setup to work with the new framework build of Tcl and Tk, unfortunately I have zero knowledge about all things Python... if needed, instead of the TkAqua port you should be able to build the standard unix X11 version of tk without trouble by essentially following my instructions for building tcl 8.3.x.
