At least ethe first of these problems (can't select application) I mentioned on this list a couple of days ago, but Jim Ingham doesn't know the answer yet (and I certainly don't!). > Popup menus in dialogs behave slightly > erratically--almost like the control region is displaced and > have to _really_ click them to get a reaction. It is hard to get small controls in aqua, but I agree those buttons are too large! Any suggestions for categorized sub-menus of modes? Could be a good idea. > I also > tried Tk console. 'ls' is now not a Tcl command but a unix command, but it should still be found automatically by Tcl --- shall have to look into that. > I quit and then immediately tried to start again just to see how > launch time would be without the initialization overhead. > However the splash screen (which is very pleasing BTW) just kept > on a comin'. I have seen that with an older version, but not with this one -- again I shall have to debug. Did it work when you tried a third time? Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I'm going to upload a newer version later (also with tcl/tk compiled with optimisations on, which seems to make a bit of a difference on my old mac). cheers, Vince. |
