You might ask the people who use it if they ever take advantage of the fact that it is a beefy machine. It's got 6 cpus and 8GB of ram and 80GB of SSD (14GB of which is currently used). It's also backed up nightly & weekly in a way that makes it super easy to get stuff back. The original reason I bought that was so that people had a fast machine where they could run regressions. I suspect that replicating all that on a VM would cost a bunch of money. Maybe activestate could host it going forward? I can ship it up there. FYI the Fossil and SQLite repositories are already hosted on a minimal Linode, so there's no question about the capacity. Is there anything else on that machine beside the repositories? > > Larry, do you have a date by which time you'd prefer to have core.tcl.tk out of the office? > > Steve > > > On Mon, Apr 14, 2014 at 03:21:17PM -0700, Jeff Hobbs wrote: > >> SteveL identified that dot.tk was failing to be a reliable DNS > >> provider again and was looking at CloudFlare fronting us.
