If you click on a command it shows you information about: the proc definition for procs, and so on. To write this, I needed to figure out for each command what kind of command it was, i.e., how it was defined: a proc, a command, a namespace ensemble. The information is available, but not all in one place. [info cmdtype] puts it in one place. It's a convenience.
