Category: 48. Number Handling Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Andreas Kupries (andreas_kupries) Assigned to: Kevin B KENNY (kennykb) Summary: Tcl_PrintDouble formatting error ? Initial Comment: Apparently the Tcl_PrintDouble() can in some situations print superfluous trailing '0's when converting a double value to a string rep. This is seen in the testsuite of tcllib::math::calculus, when run against Tcl 8.5 or 8.6 branch heads. The 8.4 branch is ok. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Kevin B KENNY (kennykb) Date: 2011-01-15 14:09 Message: Full 8.4 compatibility restored when tcl_precision != 0. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110894&aid=3157475&group_id=10894 |
