[TCLCORE] Can 'error' command pass an object with an error in tcl-8.5?

I know that 'error "my message"' will pass the string "my message" as an 
error to be caught by 'catch' command.
But can I pass the Tcl object with an attached C structure 
(tcl_obj->internalRep.otherValuePtr) through the 'error' command to 
'catch' command?
