Category: 57. [option] Group: current: 8.5.8 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Kristoffer Lawson (setok) Assigned to: Allen Flick (caflick) Summary: Man page is misleading Initial Comment: The manpage gives the following example: option add *button.foreground red startupFile claiming to change the look for all buttons. I tried a similar line: option add *entry.font "-size 14" startupFile On at least OS X this has no affect. Changing the option to *Entry.font" works. So the name is case sensitive and should be capital. Additionally the manpage really should describe the option syntax without referring to "usual X format", as this is not relevant on Windows and OS X. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112997&aid=2914943&group_id=12997 |
