Category: 29. http Package Group: current: 8.5.2 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Donal K. Fellows (dkf) Assigned to: Jeffrey Hobbs (hobbs) Summary: failing http-4.5 Initial Comment: With current HEAD, http-4.5 fails on WinXP (static msys build). Problem can be fixed by opening the working file in binary mode. (FWIW, this is the only failure I get in the whole Tcl test suite.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alexandre Ferrieux (ferrieux) Date: 2008-04-06 01:27 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=496139 Originator: NO A few [puts] later, we get currentsize==114 and totalsize==111, and there are exactly three CRLFs in the produced file (which is initially made of LFs). Now to explain why the size after translation is used... I notice the use of [tell] on the -channel. Could it be the culprit ? Why that strange method ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110894&aid=1929403&group_id=10894 |
