The -state option is not documented on the standard options page (http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.5/TkCmd/options.htm), although for example [ttk::checkbutton]'s man page (http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.5/TkCmd/ttk_checkbutton.htm) links to it.
