Aqua Window Operations Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Kevin Walzer (wordtech) Assigned to: George B. Smith (gbjsmith) Summary: Bug fix for pinstripe background--from Trebuchet developer Initial Comment: From the Trebuchet developer: Focus rings for text widgets are often wrong. I'll take a look and see if I can track this bug down later. Focus rings are implemented as a bit of a hack. Carbon appears to refuse to tell me the true region shapes of the controls in question, so I had to fake it. This means if apple changes the shape of their theme buttons at some point in the future, the focus rings will be incorrect. I recently came across info on how to fix this so it's done the correct way, but it will take a lot of rework of the tkMacOSXButton.c and tkMacOSXMenuButton.c files. In canvas widgets, the pinstripe background gets offset from the correct pattern. This is a subtle effect usually, but it appears hard to fix. The Application Preferences menu item will always be enabled, even if no preferences handler proc is defined. Dashed lines in canvases don't work when drawing with foreground color set to one of the theme background patterns. You can do one or the other, but not both at the same time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=312997&aid=1048554&group_id=12997 |
