Bugs item #1032941, was opened at 2004-09-22 13:37 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112997&aid=1032941&group_id=12997 Category: None Group: current: 8.4.7 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Russell Owen (reowen) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: menu bar menus sometimes in wrong place under aqua Initial Comment: On MacOS X, using aqua tcl/tk 8.4.7 or earlier, create a menu bar using the old technique of creating a frame and packing menubuttons into it. I observe that menus are sometimes posted at very much the wrong location on the screen (e.g. 1/4 to 1/2 screen away from where it should be). I see the problem intermittently on my tcl/tk application and haven't found any way to force it to misbehave or to behave. Once it starts it seems to persist, so I have to quit and start over. It also appears that once it starts, bringing a different application to the front and then bringing my tcl/tk application to the front seems to make the offset worse. -- Russell ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112997&aid=1032941&group_id=12997 |
